Our Soccer School starts with children age 5 (school Year 1) and is a perfect way to introduce your children to football. Our sessions are carefully planned and prepared by our FA qualified coaches. Sessions mainly focus on fundamental movements like balance, agility, foot-eye coordination and basic football (soccer) skills like ball control, passing and receiving. Once fundamentals are achieved, sessions naturally progress to develop children’s ability to dribble, run with the ball and shoot. Due to children’s short attention span, most of the topics are delivered in a format of various games that would encourage them to engage and make greater effort.
Our current soccer school setup has limited spaces and is based on maximum 16 children per coach. Sessions run from 9.30am to 10.30am every Saturday during School Term time at Court Park, Hillingdon, UB10 9NT. All children must wear football boots and shin pads. Clothes worn are usually determined by weather conditions, but casual sports clothing is best (tracksuit bottoms or sport shorts and t-shirts or sport tops). Once child is part of Legacy Soccer School for a minimum of one school half term (usually 6 weeks), they qualify for a football kit supplied by one of our sponsors (subject to availability). As an alternative, Legacy FC full kits or individual pieces of clothing can be purchased through our Club Shop. We also encourage all parents to make sure they bring bottle(s) of water to make sure child is hydrated during/after the session.
